I find myself on a captivating journey, partnering with Mo to co-create Eudaimonia Energy Healing. To me, this venture represents both the culmination of my life’s experiences and the humble beginning of a new chapter.
My academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a focus on Addiction & Substance Abuse. Driven by an enduring curiosity, I explore the world of herbalism, carefully crafting tinctures and teas from local flora and my modest herb garden. Gardening, particularly tending to medicinal herbs, is a personal passion.
My journey into energy healing began in a deeply meaningful way during a pivotal moment at the hospital where my mother was nearing the end of her life. Struggling with anxiety due to pain medication, my mother felt as though she was spiraling into uncertainty. It was then that a compassionate nurse suggested Reiki for my mother’s relief. To my amazement, the transformation was immediate – my mother visibly relaxed, finding a moment of tranquility amidst her suffering. This powerful experience ignited my curiosity, leading me to delve into research. In 2010, I embarked on my Reiki journey, attaining levels 1 & 2 under the guidance of Reiki Master Kathy Dowd. My practice with family members and cherished pets nurtured my confidence, ultimately culminating in achieving my Master Reiki certification via the Energy Medicine Retreat at the Monroe Institute in Virginia.
My quest for understanding extends beyond Reiki. I have the privilege of learning from Dr. Michele Doucette as I work towards a certificate in Zero Balancing – a fascinating practice centered on harnessing bone energy. I approach this journey with humility and eagerness.
Expanding my horizons, I explored Tibetan KuNye Massage under the guidance of Dr. Eric Rosenburg at Menla Retreat in New York. This spiritual practice has sparked a curiosity within me, and I look forward to further exploration, including delving deeper into Tibetan Medicine. Recognizing the absence of a spiritual dimension in Western Medicine, I believe that energy medicine and alternative therapies can complement our well-being. KuNye Massage, with its simplicity and remarkable effectiveness, holds the power to harmonize energy and induce relaxation in both body and mind.
My career has been diverse, including roles as a Montessori Preschool Directress, working with students in the public school system, and my current position as an Administrative Assistant at a local school. I’ve also had the privilege of working with Neuro Diverse populations in a college setting. My personal interests are endless, they include sewing, stained glass making, bee keeping, encaustic art, herbal remedies and essences, and gardening as I mentioned. I love to be out in nature, my favorite season is all of them!
My passion for learning knows no bounds, encompassing a genuine thirst for knowledge in the fields of energy, folk herbalism, Tibetan Medicine, and holistic well-being. My aspiration is to share my excitement and curiosity with others, and I eagerly anticipate personal growth and expanded consciousness.
I take pride in my heritage as a seventh-generation Vermonter, with deep roots in Jamaica, VT, and the Northeast Kingdom. My recent interest in my ancestral heritage has sparked a humble research endeavor, with the hope of one day writing a book about my ancestor who settled in Jamaica in 1775.
Currently, I reside in the picturesque village of Williamsville with my soul mate, three beloved Newfoundlands, and my cherished Maine Coon cat, Frannie.
